A poem of hope for times of trouble.
WHEN the lilies of the field, have bowed their heads & died;
When the sun that rose so awesomely, has sunken down & sighed;
When the rose that shone with colour, its petals withered and fallen to the ground;
It’s then we know that God our Father, will shine His light around.
THE beauty of His majesty, one can but stand in wonder.
The awesomeness of His creation, shall never be gone asunder.
But in the beauty of that rose, & in the sun that shines our way,
Never has there been such glory, as was on the cross that day.
FOR when our saviour hung & died, was mocked that day at Calvary,
The world saw Him as nothing more than a man, hanging there, nailed to a tree.
But God saw everything so much different, through eyes of love & grace,
He saw the sacrifice of love that was needed, for our salvation,
He took our place.
“Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” - Jesus, in John 11:40.
