There will be critical people in your life that are waiting to see ‘you get yours’.
They view your decisions and the path that you’re on through their own judgemental eyes and skewed perception of life that they’ve gained from walking their own path.
These people have missed the heart and soul of God’s grace.
What comes around doesn’t always go around – This is the true beauty of forgiveness. We mess up, we will always fall short. The sooner we accept the fact that we are not, and this side of heaven never will be, perfect.
THAT’S THE WHOLE POINT OF THE CROSS!!
People that expect you to be perfect (including yourself) have missed the fact of why we desperately need a saviour.
Jesus came because we aren’t perfect.
If we were perfect now and never messed up, we wouldn’t need a saviour and Jesus died in vain.
1 Corinthians 15
54 “Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled:
“Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”
56 For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. 57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Give yourself the same break that God has given us in Jesus, forgive yourself and let go of the pain of past mistakes.
Don’t let the limited & twisted view others have of your life determine your future, “continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”
