Nothing stays the same. Everything changes.
It’s just the way, our God has made it.
Though sometimes we wish we could turn back time,
There’s just no way, even if we try.
Some try to stay, and they ‘live in the past’,
But the world keeps moving & keeps moving fast.
Some people walk in, while others check out,
It seems it’s the way that things move about.
If things could be changed, would it be for the better?
If we brought back to real, things we only remember?
Would we be just as strong? Would we grow like we should?
And if we went back, would it be just as good?
Or should we just let it be, leave all things as they are?
Should we keep moving on and let what’s happened be past?
For I know with lost loved one’s, is where our difficulty lies,
And sometimes to move on, just doesn’t seem right.
But whatever has happened, now cannot be changed
And somehow we must live, with this reality again.
Yet God gives us strength, as we walk with His hand
As our story continues, we must trust in His plan.
