Amen.

This was the first poem I wrote as a new Christian back in 1995. It sparked the beginning of many more after it as I expressed my new found love in Christ. 

It’s written in Free Verse and I hope you enjoy it.

A sigh of relief for the lonely one,

For they are no longer alone.

Peace of mind for those afraid,

For in Him there is no fear.

With all his love, glory & power,

Comes hope, truth & life.

With His word,

Comes serenity & guidance.

In life,

Comes unnecessary pain & anger.

But for those who follow Him,

Read His word & take heed,

Comes everlasting life, joy & happiness.

For no longer will the lonely feel alone,

Nor the afraid fear,

But weep for joy the return of our Lord

And sing His praises ever after.
