As humans, we all have our plans and goals that we want to achieve in life. However, life can be unpredictable and things don’t always go according to plan. This is where faith comes in. As believers, we trust in God’s plan for our lives, but sometimes we may struggle with doubt and uncertainty about whether or not His plan will come to pass.
The truth is, God’s plan will always come to pass. The Bible says in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” This means that God’s word will always accomplish what He intends for it to do.
It’s important to remember that God’s plan may not always look like our plan. Sometimes, we may think that something is a setback or a failure, but it’s actually a part of God’s plan to bring us to where He wants us to be. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” This means that even the difficult things in life are working together for our good.
So how can we know that God’s plan will come to pass? We can trust in God’s promises. God’s promises are sure and steadfast. In Joshua 21:45, it says, “Not one word of all the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.” If God’s promises came to pass for the Israelites, they will come to pass for us too.
Another way to know that God’s plan will come to pass is to look at our past experiences. God has been faithful to us in the past, and He will continue to be faithful to us in the future. Psalm 138:8 says, “The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.” This means that God will fulfill His purpose for us, and His love for us will endure forever.
We can know that God’s plan will come to pass by trusting in His promises and looking at our past experiences of His faithfulness. Even when things don’t go according to our plans, we can rest in the fact that God’s plan is always for our good and His glory.
